About Crafted Simply

In December of 2015, my sister I were desperately hoping for inspiration to strike. Everyone has that moment of looking for a one-of-a-kind gift that stands out from the ordinary. As we sat at my dining room table, I began sketching out ideas. After days of deliberation and planning, we decided to get to work.

Without any prior knowledge of power tools but a strong desire to learn, our husbands walked us through the basics. Shortly thereafter, we started measuring, cutting, drilling, torching, sealing - you name it. Before we knew it, we had our first photo memory board completed. We gave it to our parents in front of our friends and family. Their reactions revealed that we had done something truly special. We'd created a unique way for people everywhere to share their favorite moments.
